Columbus Gym was established on Manhattan's Upper Westside in 1988. We are housed in a state-of-the-art 3000 square foot gymnasium, the largest gym on the upper west side, with every piece of equipment imaginable for superb classes. The equipment includes rings, bars, beams, pommel horse, soft jungle gym apparatus and EVEN a trampoline
We are a family friendly environment with a waiting area that allows you to view your childs excitement while taking a little rest.
GYM STAFF:
Our gym programs are over seen by COACH MARVIN and his team. He develops the curriculum and ensures the integrity of the Columbus Gym Program. He is USGF Certified and has over 23 years of gymnastics experience. Coach Marvin has performed for both Cirque De Soleil & Ringling Brother and Barnum & Bailey Circus and was the captain of the City College gymnastics team. He has been coaching gymnastics on the Upper West Side for over 20 years and is well known and respected by both children and parents in the community.
COACH KAYLEE has been coaching gymnastics at Columbus Gym since 2005. She started gymnastics when she was 3 years old and began competing at age 8. Kaylee won level 7 and 8 state tournaments in 2004 and 2005 and also competed at level 9. As captain of her high school gymnastics team, Kaylee’s team won the league championships.
